Twin&Earth had the pleasure of taking part in the Meridian Pool Challenge annual boat race along the Thames in Central London. We participated as part of the Investec Asset Management - Project Newlands team (55 Gresham Street). The team included JAC Group, Rider Levett Bucknall, MiX, HLW, Hoare Lea and Twin&Earth. Guess what……the team finished in 1st place! Thanks to JAC Group for organising the boat at this fantastic event that raised over £24,000 for the AHOY Charity which is a fantastic cause.
Twin&Earth provided energy and sustainability support for the planning submission of Pall Mall Court’s redevelopment in Manchester. Twin&Earth’s services for the proposed refurbishment included developing the following strategies:
Energy Statement – including:
Summary of base-line and proposed energy / carbon calculations
Consideration of the energy hierarchy
Consideration of low carbon/renewable technologies
Assessment of least cost technology option
Environmental Standards Statement – including:
Energy efficiency / renewable energy
The design, developed by Sheppard Robson Architects, has since been submitted to Manchester City Council for approval and its further details can be found in the following news article published by property website ‘Place North West’:
Last week Twin&Earth attended Grosvenor’s annual Dragon Boat Regatta at the Oakley Resort Hotel in Windsor. The event was hosted in aide of The Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre and successfully raised £41,000 for the charity.
Despite missing out on the semi-finals by 0.01 seconds, it was a brilliant day of team bonding, with the sun shining and a fantastic setting.
