Twin & Earth have been contracted to support the delivery of RE:NEW, a London-wide home energy efficiency retrofit programme which is being led by Capita Property & Infrastructure on behalf of the Greater London Authority (GLA). With over 36% of Greater London’s carbon dioxide emissions produced by housing, there is huge potential to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in this sector, as well as reducing household fuel bills and fuel poverty.
Matt Cotton of Twin & Earth is working as part of a wider team that will engage London’s boroughs, social housing providers and private landlords to scope out and support projects that will reduce the capital’s energy consumption and carbon emissions. Matt also sits within the RE:NEW Innovation Unit, which seeks to identify and roll out new processes and products that will help to reduce energy demands of our existing housing.
