Energy Consultant

Are you an experienced energy modeller with a strong background in IES Virtual Environment and a passion for low-carbon building design?

The core focus of this role will be to lead and develop advanced energy modelling services across a variety of new build and refurbishment projects. This includes delivering NABERS Design for Performance, CIBSE TM54 and LEED energy models using ApacheHVAC, as well as compliance modelling such as Part L, EPCs, thermal comfort and daylight assessments. You’ll play a key role in establishing best practice for NABERS work, particularly in Design for Performance, and mentoring junior team members in the use of advanced simulation tools.

You’ll also contribute to wider project delivery by supporting fee proposals, attending client meetings and helping to grow strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing clients. Strong technical knowledge of building physics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex modelling concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential.
