Twin & Earth at Soho Theatre, Walthamstow

Last week, the Twin and Earth team visited Soho Theatre, Walthamstow, a project we’ve been proud to support, developing the energy strategy and achieving BREEAM certification.

The building, originally from 1870, has been carefully retrofitted while respecting its Grade II listing. The energy strategy includes heating and cooling provided by air-source heat pumps, and 125 PV panels supplying approximately 15% of total energy demand.

With the improved building fabric meeting Part L 2021 standards and an EPC rating of A, it’s an inspiring example of how historic architecture and modern sustainability can beautifully coexist.

To top it off, we enjoyed a brilliant climate conscious show, “Bog Witch”, by Bryony Kimmings.
